This weekend is Easter - it is so hard to believe that the year is going so quickly! However it is also a very special friends 50th birthday and I made this card just for her. She loves soft vintage, pretty things. I love her positive, beautiful and gentle nature, her warm heartfelt hugs, her love of crafting and lets not mention her heavenly homemade shortbread biscuits and orange cakes! Happy Birthday my beautiful friend, I am so grateful to have you in my life. x

Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation 2014

Black and Blue!

I swear that if I were really pinching myself, I would be black and blue right now! Metaphorically speaking though, I am still pinching myself.....I EARNED THE STAMPIN' UP! GRAND VACATION! 

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine when I first joined that this crazy craft venture would take me to places I could have only dreamed about. It has been hard work, however without the support of my customers, my team, friends, family, awesome Mum and incredible amazingly supportive Husband, I could never have made it - so THANK YOU!

We head off on the 1st May and set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the biggest ship in the world - Allure of the Seas. I will be back to keep you updated on all the fun.

I've been inspired by the little box on page 51 of the main catalogue. A little fries box, which I think is totally adorable!

If you are regular blog visitor, please forgive my absence. If you are new to my blog, welcome, I'm running a little bit behind! 

For those of you who may not know, I am part of an amazing, talented group of women on a challenge blog called Just Add Ink. I love being part of the Design Team and also love the latest challenge - Just Add Layers. I am a layers girl and I had fun getting back into the swing of things with this card. 

I simply love this (not so) new stamp set on page 32 of the Occasionals Catalogue, So Very Grateful. I have a vintage tea cup with a similar pattern on it.
