Just Add Ink 225
Happily Ever After
Over at Just Add Ink this week the challenge is a colour challenge.
Now, if you follow my blog you will know that I generally get stuck on colour challenges! I don't know what it is but for some reason as soon as I see colour challenge I lose my mojo!
I am quite happy with the result and have fallen in love with the new Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.
I have created a quick tutorial on how I achieved this effect on my card, as in the image you can't really see the texture of the embossing and it just looks like I have stamped white stamps on it!
Look out - this is my VERY FIRST video tutorial, with many more to come. *insert smiley face :)
A great job on your first video - I shall be giving this technique a go. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteNo lost mojo as far as l can see...:0) Lovely as always Lou and your video is great, well done you, a beautiful technique and card. xxx
ReplyDeleteBig sentiment and delightfully ornate background are a great combo Lou and the ribbon adds that wonderful pop of yellow. Loved your video short, sweet and did a great job showing the technique! xxx

Such a simple way to achieve a real "wow" result! Thanks for the video, lovely. Your card is GORGEOUS; that ribbon just sets it off perfectly.
ReplyDeleteWow - awesome video Lou! I thought you had inked up the embossing folder directly then used it as a stamp. Stunning card and even better now I know it has also been embossed.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to watching more videos!! Deb x
