Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation Hawaii Blog Hop

23 April 2015

Aloha! Welcome to our Grand Vacation Hawaii Achievers Blog Hop.

You may have just hopped here from my beautiful, talented, American friend Brian King, who I simply adore.
I first met Brian a couple of years ago at the 2013 Stampin Up Convention, where I wooed him with Tim Tams for a personal photo and he stole my heart with his love and bear hugs.

This hop was created to celebrate our achievement for earning the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation to Hawaii. The theme for this hop is Hawaiian and I'm sure you will be so inspired, you will be looking for flower leis and grass skirts!

Be sure to check out all our blogs between the 12th - 17th May to see all our Stampin' Up! Hawaiian adventures.

I LOVE shaker cards! I wanted to use the 'Hello Vacation' card from the latest Project Life Let's Get Away Kit in the Occasions Catalogue as I thought the sentiment and the colours represented our trip. The flowery frame is also from the Let's Get Away Project Life Kit and they complimented each other well.

Next stop is my gorgeous, amazing friend Kylie Bertucci.

A bit more about this hop.....
It's no secret that Kylie Bertucci and I are very close friends. A friendship that firstly blossomed over adventures on our very first incentive trip to Utah and since then we have formed an even closer bond. Kylie was going through a tough time she was not feeling as inspired and pumped as she usually does.

I had a 'light bulb' moment! I thought why not create a blog hop and join forces with other top demonstrators to celebrate our achievement of earning the Grand Vacation in Hawaii. The goal was  get everyone creating and showcase the amazing talents of some of Stampin' Up!'s elite.

This not only got Kylie excited, but me too! Be sure to check out all the beautiful creations and we all love comments too. Thank you so much dropping in.

A hui hou,
(until we meet again)

Stamp Out Autism Blog Hop

18 April 2015

Welcome to the Stamp Out Autism Blog Hop.

You may have just hopped here from my talented friend and fellow stamper Alisa Tilsner.

This hop was created by Lee Conrey to showcase our projects and also raise awareness and funds for those affected with Autism. Thank you Lee, this is a cause close to my own heart.

There is no theme, other than to use the colour blue, which represents Autism Awareness. For me though, I wanted to use balloons, because when our son, James was younger (among many, many other things) he was petrified of balloons. Thankfully he is over that now!

Stampers across the US have already raised over $23,500 with nationwide charity events and other blog hops.

Together with Alisa, we are raising funds for Autism Australia. We would love it if you could even donate a small amount to help us raise $1000.

We are also donating our 20% commission on all our online sales until the 25th April.

Next on the hop is Rachel Tessman. Be sure to hop all the way around to see all the amazing creations!

INKspired Blog Hop - Sea Street

12 April 2015

Welcome to our INKspired Team Blog Hop. You may have just arrived here from my beautiful friend Lissa and her gorgeous creation using the Flower Shop set.

Man alive...this sketch had me in a tizz! My upline Teneale Williams designs the sketches and I love them because they generally get me out of my comfort zone. Ok, first I despise them and then I end up loving them!  Hahaha

Here's this weeks sketch:

I turned the sketch to go landscape:

I really love nautical cards and have used the Sea Street stamp set before and loved it. The little images lend themselves to being cut into circles and I think they look like little portholes on a ship. I also really like the little school of fishies swimming in the background.

Next stop on the blog hop is my gorgeous friend and team member Marlene.
