Welcome to the Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. You may have just arrived here from my lovely friend Kimberly Van Diepen from the US.

Today the Artisan Design Team are highlighting the new Count My Blessings or Gourd Goodness stamp set from page 50 of the Holiday Catalogue. In Australia at the moment we are enjoying Spring, so I decided to use the Count My Blessings stamp set and watercolour the beautiful flower.

Count My Blessings

I stamped the flower onto Vellum Cardstock with Versamark Ink and embossed the White Emboss Powder. I then watercoloured the flowers with an Aqua Painter and ink from Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz. The full list of products used is added below.

It's Monday, which means another challenge over at the Global Design Project. This week we have a colour challenge and even though colour challenges are not generally my favourite, I love the elegance of the black, gold and green combination - and the Design Team have created stunning projects for you to be inspired by!

The black and white check paper from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper collection is one of my favourites and paired with the Gold and Old Olive it's a winner - don't you think?!

The candles are from the the MERRY PATTERNS HOST PROMOTION stamp set. And YES, I stamped the candles onto Gold Foil Cardstock and hand snipped the gold flames (Brain King will be proud of me!) This week at the Global Design Project we are getting our inspiration from one of our talented Design Team Members, my very good friend Brain King from the US. I've always loved Brian's clean and classy style.

The definition of CASE: Copy And Share Everything or as the GDP call it Copy And Selectively Edit! Put simply, we get our inspiration from a particular project or creation. For this challenge we can use ANY element. You might be inspired by the colours, the stamp set or the card layout.

I took my inspiration from the heart on Brian's card from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set and also used Designer Series Paper for the background.
